The Boat Is Gone - excerpt

The is an excerpt from my story "The Boat Is Gone" about a newly formed love between two who chose the wrong vacation day -  scuba diving, based on a true story. Enjoy The Excerpt.

With their deaths came a shimmering to the ocean water. One could say if there had been anyone there to witness it, that from the water a passing had occurred. A fading glow in the water rose to find the stars. 

    Passed on family reunited for a wedding. Lost loved ones prepared for a gathering.

            “All the dreams added up” he thought now

The puzzle solved, the maze defeated.

            ‘There WAS more to life”

The stars formed a familiar pattern, picture perfect....glowing in the night sky.
